Casa Sassolo 1713

The stone farmhouse of 1713 called Sassolo di Sotto, has been completely renovated, maintaining the spirit of past centuries, without having to give up all modern comforts. The house is surrounded by a large garden, surrounded by woods of robinia, elms and nuts where you can often see roe deer and wildlife, in which you can unwind away from the chaos of the city. For sports lovers a short distance you will find two golf courses, hiking trails, CAI paths on foot or by mountain bike and many other possibilities to discover the magical territory surrounding Monte San Pietro.

Ideal Location for Exploring

In a maximum of 20/30 minutes by car you can reach Bologna, Modena, Ferrara, the Fiera District, Guglielmo Marconi airport, the Dall’Ara Stadium and the Unipol Arena. In about an hour, always by car, you can visit beautiful cities such as Venice, Florence, Parma, Ravenna and Mantua.

The strategic location of our B&B allows you to explore both the city of Bologna and the surrounding natural beauty. After a day spent admiring monuments and landscapes, you can return to our quiet B&B for a well-deserved rest.

Our Suite Margherita

At your disposal you will find an attic of 90 sqm, fully furnished with period furniture revisited, with sleeping area, living area, fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom with shower, sink, bidet and toilet. Equipped with air conditioning, satellite and digital terrestrial TV and LCD TV. The wi-fi is free and covers the whole house, while in the garden you can enjoy a large barbecue and a wood oven perfect for pizza. The rich breakfast with local products is served on the ground floor, while in the warmer months can be enjoyed in the garden.
